A Dog's Wisdom

"Dog's don't know the word "love". To them it's just a word like any other, a sound that defines or simply fills a lack, a word they don't need to know any more than they need to know the word for fear and pride. Yet, though they can't articulate it, they show it, as though nothing else had ever been, our form the shape and echo of all that is necessary to them.

  1. oh that's true.... it's like that rose-thingy, it would smell sweet with efurry name. like the love we get from our fourlegged kids :o)

  2. Hari OM
So true... and sadly, many humans use the word as if saying it alone will suffice... YAM xx

  3. Oh, the ways they show their love! Chester is our rescue chocolate lab who still hasn't learned to give doggie kisses after 5+ years. I feel such a strong bond with him and feel he is so appreciative of our home just from his trust, companionship and his protectiveness of us and our home.

  4. I show mom I love her by ignoring her.

    Aroo to you,

  5. Everything about dogs is love.
    Love Noodles

  6. If bacon is a present pigs give you when you're good, then love is a gift dogs give you when you look into their eyes.

  7. Our pugs do show love - every day
    Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel

  8. Us dogs can sense when mommy is feeling blue, we try to show her love by giving her our paw or a stuffed animal.
