On Special Moments

For those occasional lousy days, followed by  bad hair, bad breath mornings, when your furry best friend let's you know you are absolutely the most beautiful, important thing in the world.

I miss you Barkley - and those special moments.
But I'm so happy to have Abby the Rescue Lab waiting for me while I work (her Dad was home today on a house project and got a photo of her looking for my truck almost to the minute when I normally roll in).

  4. Dogs have a way of seeing through all those external things and find their way to the heart immediately.

  5. Although you & I didn't have the same kind of bad day, I really needed this post today. I always enjoy your reminisces of Barkley; they make me think again of my Melanie, a black & tan, smooth, mini Doxie. And I love when you & Abbie talk about how much you love each other. Thanks for a bright spot in a rough day/week nursing my son & I thru a winter crud that's invaded our home. Hi Abby!

  10. When ghostwriter gets home, no matter what time (today she arrived home at 5:30AM!) I pick up my favorite squeaky toy and parade it around in hopes to play.
