You Were Expected HOURS Ago . . .

I was an hour late getting home from work due to traffic and some localized flooding that closed one of the roads I normally travel on.

Needless to say, based on the location of the contents of my magazine/video basket and contents of the small office wastebasket, Abby Lab was NOT happy I arrived home post food o'clock.

  3. Aww, poor Abby, time goes so much more slowly when your Mom & Dad (and dinner) aren't there. But remember, poor Mom who worked hard to get home to you and was delayed due to circumstances beyond her control. Hope you gave her lots of love when she got home. In fact, you can go give her more now. And later tonite too.

  5. Yipes! Give Mom a break Abby. She can't help it if she's delayed due to natural disasters. But I understand that you got worried.

  6. Hope the flooding doesn't cause more problems (we are having the worst flooding in 20 years and it is causing some traffic nightmares). Hope Abby forgives you for being late!
