It may be a bit far, but if our friends Madi or Ranger, or any of you in Blogville that live in the Carolinas need shelter, our home in Chicago is open to you. It is very small (one bed, one bath, and a futon in my office) but you are welcome here. We do have a big fenced yard for doggies and Abby likes cats.
I don't see why kitties get blamed for these big storms. Puppies are the destructive ones!!
ReplyDelete~Pigeon, the very well-behaved thank you very much
Blamed, Matilda? They're getting blown away! Poor kitties!
ReplyDeleteThey're also welcome in Gate City, where, whenever anyone else, seemingly in ANY part of the world, gets a weather disaster, we get rain. Lots and lots of rain. But Samantha (grudgingly) concedes room for one vehicle with over 18" clearance, up to 4 humans (and one lucky one won't have to put a sleeping bag on the floor!), 2 cats (individual cages), and one up to hound-size dog or 2 more cats (cat family cage), if they all bring their own food etc.
I hope this hurricane just blows harmlessly out to sea like Floyd...
We hope everyone is able to stay safe.
ReplyDeleteLove the "cat"agories. And the offer of shelter. I thought about extending the same, but am heading out of town for the weekend. May everyone stay safe.
