It's not as steep as it looks in the photo, my husband actually made them with 3 inches less height than the old steps to be easier on my bad knee. He built a portable ramp when Barkley got sick that's easy to just walk down at a gentle slope, and it's ready for Abby if she needs it when she is much older.
Ghostwriter's been seeing a baby bunny outside the nursing home side door every evening she works now. It just sits there for a while, then goes back into the field. If I was there, I'd personally go out and get that bunny and bring him inside for dinner!
Oooooo...did you catch one, Abby??? Bet your Mama has some good recipes she can loan you! Speaking of recipes, would you be able to bring the Food Truck to the Blogville Picnic on September 22nd?? I know we would love to sample some more of your delicious foodables!! xoxo Mayor Arty(and Jakey too!)
I would be honored to. I was so disappointed when I made foodables for the last two dances (Mom makes some of the foodables herself to photograph) to have them cancel at the last minute. It will be SO much fun. Frankie Furter is still tied up with some family matters, but even if he can't be my date I'm going to send he and Ernie photos! He sent hugs and wags the other day. Abby Lab
Welcome to The Book of Barkley and the Blogville dog blogging community. This blog was created for more memories of Barkley as well as updates on our Lab Rescues that have joined our household since Barkley left us.
Stop in and say hello. However, comments from strangers offering business links will NOT be posted. I
