Monday Musings

LB here tonight.  Abby Lab is sound asleep on the couch and didn't express an interest in posting tonight after a busy day sleeping and getting walks from her favorite dog walker, so I'll fill you in on my day.

That's probably for the best, for like Barkley did, sometimes when she gets on the computer it takes her a while to actually sort out a blog post.

My day started with a healthy breakfast.

Followed by the usual public transportation adventures.

I did arrive at work on time with my usual plan for Mondays -

to deal with the usual workload and workplace politics.

I won't go into detail but let's just say I'm ready for "Facebook - your year in review."

I decided to really watch what I ate today since the big luncheon out with friends over the weekend.

The salad wore off by 2 and by 3 I was having fantasies about the Danish Maid bakery back home in Astoria across the river from where Dad lives.

But soon I'll be home where I know Abby Lab will be behaving herself.

Before I drove home I got to chat with a close friend - that always puts me in a better mood. Friends do that you know.

Soon I was walking in the back door, happy the "budget security system" of huge dog bowls, giant gnawed bones, a couple of guns and ammo magazines and huge men's boots worked yet again.

I can't wait to see Abby and make some hot tea.

Home to a happy face dog with a  happy heart that has love for everyone,

Especially a grumpy Monday person.
