Thank you Blogville
Abby T. Lab here with Mom (Dad is doing something known as "puttering" in the basement)
Today is the 3rd annual Thanks - Blogville Blog Hop created by
We've been a resident of Blogville for 3 years this Thanksgiving season.
We are thankful to Blogville for making us feel so welcome as a new pet blogger and strangers to most of you. You laugh with us, you cry with us, you provide creative outlets for us, and most of all, you care and support, even if we've never met in the furs, making us feel special.
I think this poem sums it up the best.
"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thank you Blogville for believing in all of us.
Abby

DeleteWe don't have your email address, so we'll leave the message here. You might want to know the reason you have few visitors today is because when your link in the Blogville blop hop is clicked, it comes up "Server not found". Evidently you typed in your url as http://www.thebookofbarkley.blogville.com/ I don't know as you can delete it but you could make a new entry with the correct web address.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Thanks - it won't let me delete it and there is already an entry with the correct web address (I didn't see it when I created the second one). So if people click each picture they will get my page. Thanks for the heads up and we hope you had a wonderful day!

Ruby - I am proud to have you as my bff. We see you live in the Bay area. Mom used to fly in and out of SFO ALL the time. One day, her flight to Monterey that she was Captain on was oversold. But it ran every hour. The Untied Gate agent made the announcement. "We are oversold on the Monterey flight but if you give up your seat, we will give you an (87) dollar credit for a future flight and OF COURSE, a guaranteed seat on the next flight". This woman gets up and says "well what if the next flight is to some city I don't want to go to?"
