I have an elderly friend, not a blogger or follower of this blog, who hand wrote a beautiful children's story about her dog who she had lost recently. She wanted to publish it but had no money (she is seriously ill, going into hospice soon). The photos for it were all camera pictures and poor quality. I tweaked and tweaked the photos and formatted it and published it under Create Space. She was on a serous time crunch to get it for her grandchildren out due to her health so the cover wasn't fancy but it is out and it made her Christmas. I can say, after that, I would NOT want to publish a magazine :-)
Welcome to The Book of Barkley and the Blogville dog blogging community. This blog was created for more memories of Barkley as well as updates on our Lab Rescues that have joined our household since Barkley left us.
Stop in and say hello. However, comments from strangers offering business links will NOT be posted. I
Me and Brinley would probably eat da magazine.
ReplyDeleteAbby, we hear your Mom is pretty darn good at writing, maybe you can get her to work on this with you:) We would definitely subscribe.

ReplyDeleteHailey could join Abby as a cover dog!

ReplyDeleteHow cool! I bet all of us from Blogville could write stories and recipes for it!
ReplyDeleteI would eat the whole magazine... 100% taste and zero calories LOL
