The day dawned at a balmy 28 degrees and by late afternoon was down to 0 degree wind chills. When Abby went out before Food O'Clock at 4 she didn't much like it. She does NOT like walking on the grass when it's really cold and crunchy. I don't have a phone that can take video and no clue how to do that on the camera, but it's hilarious. She raises each foot really high and tries to take big steps so she spends as little time on the ground as possible. We call it her "Minister of Silly Walks" potty break.
BOL! Oh gurl, I knows what you means....I don't likes walkin' on wet ANYTHINGS, so it's like my own game of 'the floor is lava'! BOL!
ReplyDeleteKisses,

Dat sounds hilarious!

ReplyDeleteBOL... Abby, you are not alone. My angel Jade used HATE the wet grass after the rain and would do her utmost to hover!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Phantom would do something similar if the grass was really wet. Not us, we love to lie down on the cold ground, and IF we could be lucky enough to have snow, we love to burrow down in the snow and get comfy:)

I don't blame her. Crunchy grass is unnatural!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would like to see a video of that - in my head, it's hilarious (Monty Python probably only ups the 'hilarious' aspect in my mind).
ReplyDeleteEvery day thus far this winter mom has been very happy she didn't have to take me out to do my business or get any exercise. We sure do have a high respect for K9's and their dedicated 2 leggers
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
We can just imagine the walk! BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe love Monty Python!
