This was in the trunk of my husband's rented Camero (he was in Texas yesterday for a meeting).
I think it's the trunk release catch, but I can't shake the the feeling that it's a warning that the car may try to eat pedestrians.
Be careful out there on your evening walks :-)
There always appears to be something strange in rentals these days...
ReplyDeleteWe hope we never need to use one. Mom asked, "Anyone out there kidnapping old ladies?" BOL!

ReplyDelete... don't leave it open else beware theft, perhaps... YAM xx
Do Cameros have problems with eating people or having people stashed in the trunk of the car? Is this really a thing?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, abductions are not uncommon. During a self defense class we have a video of a petite, pretty young lady, head down on her iphone, walk past a nice looking young man in a parking lot. In one move, he lifts the truck, snatches her up and shoves her in.
DeleteAt least they provided arrows outlining the correct escape route.....
ReplyDeleteIs that the guy who carries your shopping bags into the house?
ReplyDeleteProbably not. um I think it's a safety exit.
