Game of Yawns

With fireworks that went on way too late and an alarm that went off at 3:30 a.m. so Dad could get to O'Hair in time for an early flight to New York for a meeting, Mom was exhausted when she got home from work. Sure, she let me out and then fed me and then walked zombie like into her room and laid down on the pawprint blanket and that was about ALL the attention I got.

So Dad's gone and Mom's too sleepy to play with me.  My dog walker came by today and I got walked this morning and afternoon, but seriously it's a snooze-fest around here now.

It's like expecting Game of Thrones

And getting THIS
Mom  - these toys aren't going to throw themselves you know.

  1. Yeah....we hate those days when the peeps are tired. Sheesh! They have responsibilities like throwing toys and stuff.

Crikey Abby, you need to get onto the big A and order yourself an automated toy thrower - you know, like they use for tennis balls and clay pigeons!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. You'll just have to take matters into your own paws. Trying playing Ricochet and bounce your balls OFF your momma to make it more interesting!

  5. It's the same at our house - this week is definitely not going to impress anyone.

  7. That is a really nice blanket! We should buy one for our pawrents since we took over their bed and it is now ours! We hope your fireworks have calmed down and somebody is throwing those toys for you!

  8. It's tough when the humans have to work so much. They should leave more time for the finer things in life, like tossing the old tennis ball or something.
