She likes to have things around her that make her smile. The cards really made her smile.
She has a lot of things that make her smile around when she has to go to work.
Yes, that's a duck call. It is said people sometimes hear a duck deep from within the halls of Squirrel Central in the wee hours. Mom doesn't know anything about that.Roses made out of duct tape that Dad made and a picture of Mom's biological grandpa. He was a squirrel scientist too! (She was adopted like I was and found her birth family last year though her Mother was in heaven).
Her Attack Moose sign (he's a stuffie and comes out at meetings when someone starts getting a little hot under the collar - it makes everyone laugh and things settle down). Then there is the wheelbarrow full of money all of her non-author friends think that she makes writing.
Then more fun - she got to eat at the little diner that brings you your food on real toy trains. She got there right as it opened as it fills up quickly. She had a meeting in the town where it was located so that's where they went to eat.
Well you HAVE go get the cupcake with the Christmas-y sprinkles and the train whistle. Even if you're really not going to eat it plus the burger and fries you just had as you're trying to be good.
Because Dad is a train nut and she had to have something to bring back for him.
Mom - is that a SPRINKLE stuck to your cheek?
