The form of love.
When I was about three I got this really fluffy white bunny for Easter. I LOVED that bunny and carried it around everywhere and slept with it each night. Every so often, Mom would wash it and hang it up by the ears on the clothesline. A few years ago Dad found it tidying up my old room and mailed it to me. It has almost NO hair, no eyes, no whiskers. I didn't even notice - it was still my favorite bunny and I never stopped loving it as much as I did the first day I got it. I'm so very blessed to have a husband that feels that way about me (I still have my hair but my stuffing has shifted).
BOL at your funny. But seriously, we bet that bunny holds a host of wonderful memories. How awesome that you still have it!!!

I still remember my favorite stuffy I had as a child - a blue hippopotamus
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure! So glad it was (somewhat) preserved and the memories still run deep.
ReplyDeleteAwww I was the same way with my stuffied Lassies (yes Lassies, plural)...I had MANY! I used to pick all of the fur out of them but I still loved them!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post. I had a stuffed bunny when I was a little girl named Bee-Baby. I had totally forgotten her until I read your blog. Wow! I also want to thank you for the prayers. Pierre is finally doing better today. I know the prayers helped.
ReplyDeleteMy Jason human has a squeaky toy named Fuzzybear that he's had since he was a little kid.
