Thankful Thursday

This Thursday we join our friend

for Thankful Thursday. Today, while Abby snoozes in the sunlight, I'm thankful to be feeling better after a few days of summer head cold, for treats from the Brits store in Lawrence Kansas to go with my afternoon tea time  Colds are never fun, but in the hot weather they just seem that much worse.

Thankful Abby Lab kept me company until I felt better.

  2. I'm glad you feel better...amen to summer colds being twice as bad.
Last year to from our vacation in Colorado and Utah we had our first taste of McVities cookies they were absolutely delicious. I 'guess' I thought they were only available through airlines. Now I will be on the search for these at Whole Foods. Not sure we have a British store here but will check.
    Hugs to you and Abby

  3. There is a cute little British store in North Caroline in Hampstead, about 2 hours north of you. British Connction is its name. The Brits store in Kansas will mail everything except chocolates in the summer. I've always had good luck ordering through them.

  4. Well, Mom may just have to take a short drive to Lawrence to get some of those cookies too. We sure hope your cold goes away 100% soon. Summer colds and hot weather do not go well together.
