  2. Love those pictures - Barkley would have loved my crew, they might even have voted him Bosun ;->

Saving Grace... What can I say, except that I am entranced. I spent the last few days on my boat and was flat-out busy, doing Hot Yoga**. But when evening rolled around I got my reward by reading a couple of chapters while Mother Ocean rocked me in her arms...

  6. Julie - thank you - I just found that photo in the archives and it made me smile.

Cap'n Jan - he would have, that was one dog that LOVED the water. I'm so glad you are enjoying the new book.

stellaroselong - Barkley could have charmed even Miss Maggie I think.

Idahopugranch - thank you so much and thank you for reading his story. He's greatly missed.

Murphy and Stanley- I have that collar in a wooden box with some of my brothers things. They went to the bridge just 3 weeks apart and I hope my brother is throwing his favorite toy for him now until I can catch up

  7. Oh, I didn't tell you what Hot Yoga (on a boat) was:

You've heard of it, no doubt. You pay $$$ to sit in a 105 degree room squirming around putting your foot on your head, etc. Kind of like Twister without the fun.

My version of Hot Yoga is being upside down and backwards in the bilge, under a bunk, head down in the engine compartment unclogging something. Everything clogs. Particularly the raw water intake on the A/C, ergo the "Hot" yoga.

I loved that you put the story of Sally on the Book of Barkley blog... I smiled and smiled...

  8. Whitley Westie - thank you!

Cap'n Jan - the story you told me of Sally was the most comforting thing anyone said to me after Barkley died so suddenly. I'm glad I did it justice.
