We Are All Moved -

Into Mom's New Crash Pad where she will live when she is on call.  When she and Dad got married two years ago, he understood she loved her job here (she is the squirrel in charge) and her team and didn't want to leave.  Since being in charge involves lots of papers, she teleworks from home a week or so every month, so they're managing.

But she couldn't justify, money wise, what her previous place was costing, and went to a small little condo.

I'm just happy we're IN.  I knew something was up as stuffs kept leaving the house with Mom and not coming back, and then she took me with her several times with our stuffs so I could sniff this empty space that was starting to have our things in it..  Our last night there, was only furniture and breakfast food, nothing else.  I REALLY knew something was up, but Dad was here and everyone felt happy so I just went to sleep.

When the furniture all left, I was OK, but then they put ALL OF MY TOYS IN A BOX!  Don't take my toys!  Fortunately, I followed the box into the truck and before you knew it we were in the new place.  There's my beds!  There's my bowl!  There's my favorite Stuffie!

I'm tired from watching Mom pack and unpack, but I'm NOT letting my toys out of my sight!

  2. Mom's a Secret Squirrel - or at least that what it says on her tax form under employer. I'm not sure about the tail, but can she go through a can of roasted nuts like there's no tomorrow!

  9. Moving is very stressful on ALL dogs, but I think it must be a particularly difficult transition on rescue dogs who have possibly gone from one or more home to a shelter and then (hopefully)a forever home. I am happy that your peoples handled the situation sensitively for you. Keep your eyes on those toys!
