Library Time!

It's arrived. Now that Blogville has it's own library and librarian. .

I have my library card!

The new librarian is Sally Ann (click her name to go to her blog). She's so nice and if you visit her post you'll see how to get your very own library card.

Mom and Dad have a lot of books all over the house, and they can usually be found reading a bit as they relax before bedtime each night.

But Mom has to travel this week so she packed her squirrel computer and some books so she can still have some fun while Dad and I are home.

But now that I have a library card, I can get my OWN books and have fun until Mom gets back

Those little stuffies on the shelf? Those aren't for me. Those are plushie microbes my geeky Mom has. The black and white spotted one is mad cow. Or WAS mad cow. I actually ate that one during the move. . hehehehe

The other little figure? Well you know on star trek when Captain Picard would do a "facepalm".

That's Mom's face palm skeleton since one of her degrees is in bones or something.

But enough about my peeps books

I'm going to see if the Blogville library has these:

We love books!! Our house is filled with them. Even our bunny loves books ..,actually she likes to eat books, but that counts

OMD OMD they have Books about BACON????????????????? Do you suppose they have any books on how to get rid of SQUIRRELS??? We GOTTA get to the LIBRARY and CHECK it OUT... That is a Library PUN, you know... And your mom has a Degree in BONES??? OMD OMD WE thought WE were Pawfessionals when it comes to Gnawing a Bone or burying them and stuffs.... Butt your mom has a BONE DEGREE???? OMD OMD We are Totally GREEN with Jellyness over that...

About Barkley and His Mom

My Mom started this blog due to requests from friends who wanted a place to go for stories of her furry friend Barkley that weren't in the book and stories of my rescue and new life in my furever home. She donates all of the proceeds from her writing to animal rescue and groups that train search and rescue and service dogs but that's OK, as she still gives me lots of dog treats and toys.

The Book of Barkley is Mom's first memoir. She used to be a jet pilot for somebody's Uncle but now has a Ph.D. in something involving science and forensics which is like TV but without expensive suits or cleavage. Additional mayhem is provided by my Dad and our 100-year-old "fixer upper" Mission Bungalow.

Her second memoir "Saving Grace - A Story of Adoption" was published in April of 2015". Her Third Book - "Small Town Roads", her first Fiction Novel was published October of 2016 and was an NPR selected "2017 must read" and 2017 Readers Favorite International Book Award GOLD for "Fiction - Religious Theme". Her 4th book, "Calexit, The Anthology", a Novella with other authors, was published in October of 2017 and was on the Amazon Best Seller's list two days later. Her fifth book "True Course - Lessons from Life Aloft" was a #1 best seller at Amazon 24 hours after publishing so I think she has been bribing you all with treats.
