For everyone at Blogville who went out of their way to make people, including me, feel welcome when we joined this community of bloggers and pet lovers. At the bottom of this post is a link to Bacon and Nikitaland 's hosted "Pay it Forward" Campaign. Sometimes it's the little things you do that make all the difference for strangers that can become friends.
It doesn't have to cost anything, it can be as simple as baking our new neighbors on the block, a young couple with two retrievers and lots to unpack, a pie, running your snowblower down that extra stretch of sidewalk for the elderly neighbor some winter morning. It can be a welcoming smile or giving someone the last treat. It can be sensing when someone is down and saying something uplifting to them. Words don't cost anything but they can mean the whole world.
So on the first Wednesday of every month and always.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh we haf to tell you this...our mom last summer tried to pay it forward when she went up to a family and gave them money for ice cream cones, well it so happens this family was from another country and could not understand what mom was trying to do, and the father would not take the money and mom kept trying to give it to him, it was so hard for her to give that away.....that guy probably thought our mom was a looneytunes......but we still love paying it forward.
